Here's my plan...
New Who tonight. Being the first episode of the season, probably being a little on the light side, tradition is that all fans melt down online about how their child hood is being raped by the current producer, who couldn't write his way out of a paper bag, who is now writing the show only for children and not for the anorak-wearing-Terrance Dicks-loving-Target-novelization- collecting-uber-nerds that he should be concentrating on, that this is bound to be the last ever season of Doctor Who ever, that Steven Moffat is the anti-christ and will be piloting the show to it's doom all season spreading misery and suffering wherever he roams, and that the poster will graciously hold their nose and sit through next weeks drivel as well, in order to bless us with his/her bitching next week.
So, here it is. Instead of participating, I'm not. I'm going to watch the show, squee as much as I want to myself, enjoy a cognac and a cigar, and be done with it. I'm bound to discuss it with my friends over the coming weeks, and they are unlikely to dissolve into childish tantrums. :)
