small pleasures
so i finally watched stranger than fiction. i have to admit that the film has restored my faith in the art of film. not like i had any in the first place. here are some of the things that get me through the week.
::mondays, work doesn't start until 10:45 pm. this provides ample time to conspire.
::tuesday nights american routes plays on 90.9 FM at 10pm
::wednesdays open schedule allow me to find time for a shower. my paycheck also gets directly deposited at midnight thursday morning, during wednesday's third shift.
::thursdays bring savage love, news of the weird, and the straight dope screaming off the page of the chicago reader.
::friday usually begins with my best friends calling because i have not answered their calls or returned their messages all week and they are worried i won't be getting drunk with them on saturday night. sometimes they forget i work friday nights and ask me what i'm doing.
::saturday mornings i get a head start on laundry before the machines are occupied all weekend. one of the advantages of coming home at 7am.
::sundays singin songs of dixie darlin', that's where i long to be goin'.
