Rock Against Rape went pretty well and was a ton of fun. About $500 was raised for the Alternatives to Violence in the Palouse. The turnout wasn't as great as could have been hoped, but wasn't terrible either. Especially considering everything it was competing with. We had a great time performing, especially the second set. We played first to about 20-25 people as we were the first act. Later in the night Josh said there was extra time and asked if we wanted to play again. We jumped at the chance and boy am I glad we did. It was a blast! There were more people there and the audience was way more into it and we really fed off that energy and we just had a real fun time with it. My mom, brother BJ, sister Aprill and her boyfriend Seth all made it and we ate at La Casa Lopez between sets. Also a lot of other friends were there. Thanks everybody. I had a good time watching the other bands as well. Anyway, it was a great time. Thanks Josh!
Went to Lewiston with Dan Sunday and enjoyed the nice weather, lets hope it keeps up.
Liz is back from her trip to Boise. Sounds like the bridal shower was a hit! I'm glad, she was really racking her brain to come up with some fun activities. Talked to her for a little while last night, hope to talk to her more soon.
I'm looking forward to summer. The weather is getting nicer and just teasing us with the end of school approaching. I'm going to be working full-time and not probably taking summer school (I need a break.) But I'm going to be sure to make time for friends, camping, hiking, biking, swimming and everything else that makes summer my favorite season. I'm also planning on going to Boise to see some freinds I haven't seen in years and some new friends I've recently made. Probably around the time of the River Festival in late June.
During the past few weeks I've been talking to someone I used to be close to but haven't really talked with for nearly eight months. It's been with increasing frequency lately too. It's good, although a little strange. I'm just glad I won't just drift away from someone I've known for a long time again.
gotta go work on school stuff
