Saturday! YAY!
You know you would think I would be thankful for having the weekend off from work, but instead I'm really bored. I should probabely just clean my apartment and go over my training book that I just got yesterday after I have already been on the job since May! lol Anyway... It was nice to sleep in until 10:30am... ahhhh sleep good! I have already had one call from work... from the manager wanting to know why we overspent on out weekly budget... I informed him to look at the amount we were shorted and explained to him I used that amount... but the overall report will look like we over spent... but we didn't. He was like... "oh". I soetimes wonder why some people can't manage to use a little common sense. I guess it's too easy that way!
I have been thinking alot about the way I do things at work here lately... I mean I have beleived that no one ever stops learning their job no matter how long you have been doing it! right? Well I think sometimes we get caught and forget to use it as a learning tool.. but I have been thinking about some things and decided that yeah maybe I could have done them better or a little differently for a better outcome. I have read quite a lot of this training guid that I have and it made me kinda get back into sink and realize I don't know it all! lol I mean I'm in a store where I am the one with all the answers because no one else has been with the company as long and knows the policies as well. I guess it never hurts to keep reviewing policies and procedures... you know in my spare time! lol That is one thing I definately have decided I need to work on is time management... I have to try to balance my time between sales floor and office work... I'm so behind it's not even funny! :o) but hey my store looks good! hehe Somewhere in there I have to find time for myself too of course... I mean I really would like to make a life for myself here... you know meet some new friends, date, hell just have some fun. I guess for now I just have to try to do it all! "You can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one gets filled first!" (Grumpier Old Men) I love that movie! lol Anywhoo... I'm sure I will write more later on... but for now I'm outtie! Oh and hi R!
