The Takeover
The band was alright but the venue was kind of shitty. I guess it all would have been better if we hadn't been sitting directly in front of the speakers.
I had a couple of beers and was fine. We were all exhausted so we left around midnight. That's what we get for partying too hard on Wednesday night. Compared to that it was a very tame weekend.
Plus it was quite blustery yesterday and too cold for any outdoor activities. Like biking. G bought me a new bike a couple of weeks ago. Some top brand, I can't remember what it is. Very nice. And we haven't gotten to use it yet.
And F and I plan on going for some mountain biking when the weather is better. We always planned on mountain biking together, since we were teens, and now we may finally get to do it.
G got me a Basement Jaxx cd. I haven't gotten to listen to it yet cuz he borrowed it and took it to work with him. soon though. Also got a new tongue ring with a skull on it instead of a ball. Kickass!
So school is cool. I just read Stones for Ibarra and now I'm reading In The Fall. And about a million shortstories a week. That class is so time-consuming and the actual classtime is a WASTE of time since I get nothing out of that one blabbermouthed chick spouting garbage all over class and no one else gets a chance to speak. She's also one of those people that just point out the obvious.
