Well today we went to the town of Nurnzburg. I'm sure all of you know what that city is about! Well I didn't. But apparently, that's where Hitler had all of the big rallies. So we toured in this museum about the Nazi's and how Hitler came into power. It was really interesting. Then we walked to this area where the ralies were held and saw the place where Hitler spoke and ya, it was really interesting! They don't talk about the Nazi's and Hitler much here. When we were in Austria, we crossed back onto the border of Germany and went to the Eagles Nest. That's where Hitler planned his termination. It's on top of this mountain looking down onto this town. Germans wanted to blow it up like most of the Nazi buildings, but they left it up there. It is now a restaurant, so you can't even see where Hitler lived. You would think that they would keep these kind of things to bring in tourism, but I guess they certainly aren't proud of it all! It's been a fun little trip! The food here is different! It's all about the bratwursts! Today I had a half meter bratwurst for dinner! I never thought I would like Bratwursts but I tried one here and they aren't too bad. We also get these drinks called spezzi's. It's Coke and Orange Fanta put together, and it's great! So many new things over here! And I'm learning a lot! Well I'm gonna get going! I come back Sunday!
