Well damn, I'm back in Modesto. What can I say about my trip to LA except for the fact that I loved it. It was the greatest two weeks in my life, for sure. However, it had a backlash. I now know what was going thru JJ and the Baisa's mind when they came back from Hawaii. I want to go back there. It was just so great. Hanging out with my uncle, who is such a cool guy, and my cousins who loved every minute of my presence. Aww man, I can't think about it too much. But here is what I did.
A couple days after we got there, all of us (my bros, my mom, thier dad, my aunt Kellie, Uncle Matt, and my cousins Katie and Brian) went to Raging Waters. That is always fun. I mainly liked swimming in the wave pool, but I got dragged into going on other rides as well. It was fun, but I paid for it in the end, getting sunburnt again. This time I did put some stuff on, but my cousin put it on, but i guess she put it on wierd cuz it left a wierd design on my shoulder.
My brothers, Brian, and I went to go see the Fantastic Four. I don't care what anybody says, that movie was awesome. Afterwards I went swimming and I was like "FLAME ON" before jumping in. Haha, my brothers only liked it cuz Jessica Alba was in it, although that was pretty nice.
My brothers left on Thursday morning, then I stayed for another week. On Friday night, we went to my cousin Lauren's water polo game. I had never seen water polo before, but it was kind of a cross between soccer and basketball... in the water. It was pretty tight, I was getting into it. Then the next day we went to her "sweet sixteen" party on the beach. That was the funnest day I had in a long time. Lauren and her friends basically hung out with themselves, but Katie, Brian, Mandy and I went swimmin in the waves. We were there all day. Most definitely the highlight of my summer. Just good hangin with the lil kids that day.
The next day we went to a Dodger's game and watched them lose, but it was still fun nonetheless. Then we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and it was great. I liked it. To compare it to the first, you could nit pick, but it was good in it's own right.
That is pretty much it now that I am back in Modesto. I really miss my friends. I really miss my girlfriend. I want to start college. I just found out I have a lot of money saved up for me for college, so that relieves some stress.
*On a sidenote, I just saw The Bad News Bears -- didn't like it at all. Gave it maybe 1 and a half stars.
Well, now it's time to enjoy what I paid two hundred dollars to use -- the pics from my camera. This took a lot of time, so I expect comments, especially from the usuals. You know who you guys are -- HS, JS, BJ, JK, AK, JH. I better have at least six.
August 7th, I'm home.
Here are some shots from the park/zoo that we went to:
It was stuffed, but it still looked cool
I love the name of it (compared to the shape)
And here is one of the best water parks in the world, Raging Waters
