The more i see unfold....
....the less i like it.
Well, its sunday, and i had a roller coaster of a week, starting off with almost losing my job, to hanging out with good friends from out of town. I've been reading a lot more lately, and a lot of things that are way off topic for me. "The History of The 20th Century" ? I'm not even in school .. I think current events are making me want to look back, so i can at least be aware of the mistakes from history that we are repeating. I forget where i read it, but it stuck with me.
The longer you live, the more you will see unfold.
I'm 24 going on a quarter century old, and i think i've seen a lot in the short time i've been here. I've seen the fall of the soviet union, space shuttles rise and fall, the fall of a wall that divided an entire nation, War, Death, More war, more death, tv shows, movies about war, video games teaching me how to survive in a combat situation, how to kill that which is alien to me, because anything or anyone who is alien to me or my way of life is bad and should be combated.
And this is the training that has been given me by all that which surrounds me.
i'm screwed.
