Some More, Please!
I really wish that I could do this entire marching season over again. First of all, I would start with not letting Sabrina being in the guard. Then I would petition Mr. Powell for more color guard sectional time while the band practices marching. The percussion does it, why doesn't the guard. Believe it or not, the color guard became 100% better after we started have more sectionals during practice. We still had a lot more room for improvement. And then ACCs...shoot me in the face! First of all, Sabrina was ridiculously horrible and half the color guard cracked up laughing at the end of the second movement. It's a good thing we were all marching backwards. Second of all, the band got off towards the end of the fourth movement. A part that the guard spent a lot of time working on in warm-ups. When the band gets off there is not way for the guard to count together so on the video we were completely off on a part that we were usually good on. Now I can always look back and see that! Yes! Not to mention, it was my last time performing with Erika.
