Death Note. The anime. I cannot recommend it enough. After the first 10 episodes (Of a projected... 37?) I am wrapped around this show like none other. The realization I am not even a third through this series is eating me alive, as the story continues to escalate to greater and greater heights. It is Anime drama, sure. But it's a fantastic portrayal of omniscient audience and cat an mouse capers and Pig-nosed mythological death gods.
Will soon watch more Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which is light-hearted comedy fun, and a plot that spirals completely out of control due to the backwards/forwards/side-to-side storytelling. The characters make me happy only knowing they are parodies of themselves. Has the potential to be incredibly subpar if wacky highjinks go too far in trying to be entertaining. So far (7 of 14 episodes into the series) it is completely engrossing.
Have watched 1 episode of D.Gray Man. Have no desire to watch any more, if only because I can not find enough positive reviews of the anime to justify the time. I'll give it another shot eventually, and see what happens.
Oh, and then there's that application I'm filling out for CU Denver. Provided my new Advisor person calls back, I will be going to the psuedo-university in January. Or else I'll probably just explode. Here's hoping for the former.
