O Christmas Tree (continued)
This is what the tree looked like after removing the Vexar. The room had that natural pine smell the rest of the night. I had forgotten how tough it is to get pine sap out of clothes and off skin. It's bad enough when the trees have been cut for several days. It's even worse when it was cut less than an hour before! I don't think I got any on my clothes, but my hands were stained for several days.
Aiden insisted on putting on the star. Once I finally got him up on my shoulders, I realized that the topper really didn't fit on the tree too well. He needed some help.
This is what our tree looks like this year. We chose to use colored lights because the kids would think they were cool. They have a setting where the lights dance to music, which is fun.
Now we just need to add some presents!
