Yesterday, Aiden's six year old cousin noticed his birthmark - a dark patch of skin - for the first time. He was a little curious, which is natural. Today, at Alyson's birthday party, his cousin came up to me and asked:

"Is he part African American?"

I couldn't help but laugh!
