Makes sense to me

I heard a really good line from a military high-muckity-muck on NPR this morning:

"The first rule, if you're trying to get out of a hole, is to stop digging"

He was arguing for a quick pullout of troops from Iraq, but that line is so simple yet can apply to so many different things I just had to share.
