Pancakes and Thirtysomethings!
Today was my troop's annual pancake breakfast. I managed to get up at 6:30 AM and be there by 7:30 AM before it even started. Between pre-sold tickets and walk-ins we raised close to $800.00. We might finally be able to buy a couple of new tents.
Afterward I picked up the birthday cake for the surprise party I'm throwing for my brother Abe's thirtieth birthday tonight. I'm having it at Timothy's in Wilmington, one of my favorite hangouts. I've probably spent close to $300.00 myself for this party. He BETTER appreciate it. ;)
The sad thing is he doesn't have all that many friends, so I've been inviting many of mine. It's cash bar, so I'm not worried about expenses. I was thinking of doing a roast on my brother. It'd be mean, but lightheartedly funny. Regardless, it should be a good time tonight.
