Believe me, I'm not complaining...

Since I announced my friends and I were taking part in a relatively high-level D&D campaign, we've been meeting pretty much on a weekly, sometimes twice a week, basis.  So, my role is a that of a nobleman/Vampire who is somewhat connected to the political body as a hitman (that actually sounds like a cool premise for a screenplay).  Anyway, in what is less than a week's worth of game time, I have twice enountered magical elves seeking to use a portal to unleash god-knows-what into the city for god-knows-what reason, been attacked by demons, blackmailed by a mysterious vampire clan, attacked by guards on multiple occassions, hired to find a band of assassins targeting the local theive's guild, sent to recover a lost bow (like the weapon) and forced to frame an incarcerated inmate for murder.

My "allies" keep rolling these chaotic neutral bitches who don't understand the concept of "incognito" and who are inclined to utilize their quick-draw skill whenever they "don't like someone's attitude."  This certainly makes for entertaining rendezvouses (how do you pluralize that?) with their characters, but hinders the flow of the narrative.

But seriously, I ain't complainin' and the whole thing has a been a rather nice departure from our usual Halo extravaganzas.  Even though Halo still rocks the boat.
