FETUS. All of you that think I look young, like the person at the Loews who carded me for a rated R movie, guess what! I turned 20 today. I don't look or feel any different - its really just a regular day and I carried on with my regular life.
The day started with walking the dog, as my Mom has been away for the weekend, a shower, church - where I got to see Donna so I was extremely excited about that; she's like the best Soprano ever because she doesn't let the fact that she's amazing get to her head...totally not a diva, a trip to the mall for new AE sandals since my old pair broke, lunch, cleaned the kitchen and dining room floor, one something on ebay, returned some b-day phone calls, and concluded with dinner and dessert across the street.
The phone rang at 10AM and woke me up but it was a wrong number. Then my grandparents called but I didn't get out of bed, then an old grammar school classmate called - that was the suprising phone call, then my other grandparents, Jen, my Mom, and wrapped up with Eddie. Steph, Amy, and Kat also deserve shout outs for their IM notes! Its good friends like these and family that make the day special. That and of course the gifts - some to get me off to London (cash, travel books, and of course MY MOSHI PILLOW for the planbe ride) and some other things like a new lamp for the piano, and a great plaque that reads:
"Life is like a piano...what you get out of it depends on how you play it". I'm not really sure how you judge how good you're doing at the game of life, but I think I'm doing OK.
Today also marks the two year anniversary of moving into AU. I totally want to go back to AU right now and would absolutely repeat the last two years over again. So far, the memories have been great and I know there will be more in the future. And since I'll be at AU forever, I'll have plenty of time to create new ones.
Other than that, I'm still waiting to hear from some people that I e-mailed this week. I have more people to catch up with so hopefully once I get the e-mail at work back up, I'll gain some extra time to write.
If you are back at AU - have an amazing freshmen week! I really wish I was there. Everyone else, have a great last week of summer!
