My mother thought the same actor was playing both roles in The Departed. I was baffled by this concept. Since when did Matt Damon and Leonardo Dicaprio look anything alike? I watched the movie again and while I could see how one could be confused during some of the montage bits at the beginning of the movie (if you were drowsy and not paying much attention) I still could not believe anyone would be confused by even the mid point of the film.
