I took my bike to school on Monday to write my sociology exam. Getting there was no problem, but on the way back I noticed that all too familiar thumpthump sensation as my rear tire lost air. It was flat by the time I got to Elizabeth St. which really isn't very far from Ryerson is it?
Since then I've been busy studying and it's been cold anyway so I haven't had a chance to patch or replace my tire. I just attempted to patch it with some duct tape. It was only supposed to be temporary, as in, just permanent enough to get me to a bike shop so I could buy a new tube, and new tires (they're in rough shape). But, by the time I was done putting the wheel back on my bike and my gear back inside the wheel was flat again. I hadn't even put it back upright yet! I don't think I would've have made it down to Dundas before I was on my rims again.
Aaaand the bike shop just around the corner from my house was closed for a funeral. And it's beautiful out!!
