so. in my last post i said that i'll come back when i have something more important to say. now is that time.
MALE BIRTH EDUCATION is the topic and i really feel it needs to be addressed. having been through a few things of late it has been brought to my attention that there is not enough education for men out there as to what they can do from conception right through to helping birth their child.
i am hoping to start an online community for men to come to, for reference or for input, so we can all gain a better understanding of whats happening out there for men while we are basically in the midst of a baby boom.
i will post my birth story of why i am doing this as soon as i have gotten it typed up and started the thread for it.
basically i would like to encourage men to come forward and tell everyone their stories of what they've been through and how it's made you feel. also what we can do as a community to bring awareness to whats happening constantly in hospitals to dads. especially 1st time dads
and the funny little tricks they love to play on you.
so far i have sounded a little negative but that's just one side of it. the other thing is to discuss alternatives to birth choices and to become more involved with our partners. what we can do as fathers and partners to be more involved and be a part of an amazing thing. would like to discuss general health and well being from dietry advice and exercise up to what we can do to improve our chances of conceiving and how we can help our partners when they are giving birth using natural therapies and the like.
if anyone is insterested please stick your hand up.
