Serious band booking question for nashville folks!!!
I’ve been asked to book a show for a band from Japan called Gouka. I realize that most of you reading this probably don’t have a fucking clue who Gouka is. Especially Nashville folks. They are a raw sounding punk band. Really fast, rockin’ shit. I’m not in the business, or lack there of, of booking shows in Nashville anymore but this is for a friend. My problem is this: It’s Wednesday November 23, Thanxgiving eve. I personally don’t give a fuck about holidays like this but a lot of people do and I remember how dead Nashville was the night before Thanxgiving the last two years so it’s got me worried. If I do it I want to do it at Dino’s so it can be all ages. At the very worst I can probably do a bar show perhaps at Springwater or something. I need in put and I need it fast!!!
