New for 2006
As most people know I only nowadays work with Models that I already know or that are referred to me by others I know for creative work … So just this once for this year I thought I would give someone new a chance besides I cleared my computer desk up last week and accidently threw away the various scraps of paper fag packets and business cards on which I had written down all the names of people I had made vague promises of working with in the last 12 months … given the choice of scouring through a years emails and messages or throwing the door open … I decided on the latter … I digress …
OK so this is open to any model that wants to work with me … but NOT models who
A: I have worked with before or
B: Those I am currently arranging shoots with or have recent promises (last 60 days or so) of shoots
This is solely for someone new to me and those who have only made vague contact before …
I need to be challenged maybe given a new direction I have no limitations on what shape this shoot should take …
But it’s not going to be that easy ….
Consider this a competition … What I want is an idea for an image … it has to be possible and not cost the earth … I don’t want a story to shoot either … all I want is an outstanding or outrageous idea for an image something that will blow my socks off … If the idea requires other models then you need to be able to supply them and likewise any unusual props … (if you want to be riding an Elephant then I expect you to bring your own) …. Before registering your interest please bare in mind … that for anything studio based you must be able to get to London … I will travel to any location based shoot in the UK but bare in mind that the shoot will take place in Feb so the weather is a factor
There will be no expenses paid and this is not a paid shoot …. However I will provide the studio, MUA if needed, my own travel costs and lunch …
In addition as well as the pictures there will be a £100 cash prize for the idea that gets shot … you can spend put the money towards travel, chocolate, a new Furby or whatever you want … I will also spend the rest of the day shooting any other folio shots you might need or want …
