Stuff
Residency papers get sent off to the DHS on Thursday. We might have to attend an interview and I know I need to have another medical but other then that, that is it. SS number is sorted, work permit is going on the same day as the rest of the paperwork.
All in all, settling in well enough. Have a few 'issues' every now and again and some days I can get very over whelmed by how far away a lot of things I hold dear or have been used to for the past 29 years are. I guess that is to be expected I guess. There are a few minor differences in life in general here that don't get noticed or are not expected at first glance. Hell that's not true, there are a LOT of difference that keep tripping me up and poor Kate must feel like more of a mother some times then a wife, I know I feel more like a child some days and I admit I can get rather aggravated sometimes when things I have 'done wrong' get pointed out to me. F*&king Tomato ketchup. (private joke).
This will all come with time, hell Kate and I still butt heads about stuff but Christ, every couple do that. I'm just glad that we are such a good team and always get it resolved quickly.
