The past two nights I've some interesting dreams again, which I think is a sign that I'm sleeping better, most likely because I'm getting more than three hours of sleep.
The night before, I dreamt that coming outside of my house in a nice suburban neighborhood (although it was an overcast sky and rather darkish out for daytime) my neighbors and I were surprised to see that the people down the street had apparently moved out, and left a whole bunch of ancient Aztac and Maya ruins behind. Walls, statues, carvings, etc. all piled up around the streets. Nobody around seemed to care too much as to where these things came from so much as what we should do with them. It would be nice to sell them on eBay, but who knew what the starting bid should be? And, there seemed to be something... different about them, as well. Not scary or spooky, really. Just... different. Something that made me want to make a History Skill check to see if I could determine what they were really about.
And then last night, I had a dream where I was over at someone's house for a gathering, and who should be there but the Marketing Goddess. She was acting very friendly to me, and then got even more friendly when she started making out with me. Given the fact that I had been sweet on her for pretty much my entire time in Dayton, it was nice to finally get a chance to kiss her; too bad she wasn't that great of a kisser. Later, she invited me back to her place to meet her husband, and when he wasn't around, she continued to hop in my lap and confiscate my lips. Now, I'm not the type to mess around with a married woman, but when I first woke up in the middle of the dream, I went back to sleep and continued on with the experience. I'm hoping that as it was but a dream, it doesn't count.
What I find really interesting about that dream is that the Marketing Goddess hadn't been in any of my dreams for years. I guess her dream agent and my dreammakers finally settled on a contract.

Paying my car loan today, I noticed that the monthly payment amount has dropped by about $120. This really caught me off-guard. My first year of payments are wrapping up, so maybe that explains the shift -- and I think that there some discussion about the difference in payments when I first bought the car, but to be frank, this really caught me by surprise. I'm still paying the normal amount, marginally because this way I'm safe if they made a clerical error, but more so because, hey, the more I pay now, the less I pay later.
Of course, I think I still have four years left on this cycle, so it's not like I'll see the debt erased any time soon. But every little bit helps, by golly!
