Trust implicitly in the record company's assertion that someone downloaded an illegal file? What could possibly go wrong with that?
This reminds of me of Senator Orrin Hatch's ill-timed comments back in 2003 about how anyone who engages in online piracy should have their computer destroyed, only for it to be revealed the next day that the senator's own website was using pirated software.
