Random Acts of Kindness
It's been a while since a stranger has done something overtly kind in my direction. I went to the University Police Department today to request a copy of my police report. The lady said it would be 5 bucks and I didn't think I had enough cash on me to be able to pay for the report, so I took out my Visa. The lady said that they didn't take credit cards, so I looked in my wallet, and low and behold I had 1, 2, 3, 4 dollars in my wallet. I kinda shrugged and said I had 4 dollars, and then the guy behind me in line was like "here" and handed me 4 quarters. It was so utterly surprising. Well, I guess there are randomly kind people everywhere.....
