Name: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
Pairing: Matt/Mohinder
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: none
Note: For plotbunny_tiff 's prompt: No good deed goes unpunished: Matt can't turn down a plea for help, especially for something like a charity event for a battered women's shelter. It's just a harmless bachelor auction. What's the worst that could happen? The winning bidder-and what they do with their Matt prize-is up to the author. Have fun!

Name: Real Life

Pairing: Matt/Mohinder

Rating: PG

Warnings:

Word Count: Approx 3459

Authors Note: For jaune_chat’s prompt: "Inspired by Real Life" - After vanishing from L.A. and the security of FBI consulting, still nursing bullet wounds from Sylar's attack, and left in New York City without a hundred bucks to his name, not even the love of the girl he rescued is going to pay the bills for one wounded ex-cop. Even if a Company-employed geneticist is willing to give him space to crash, the NYPD won't have Parkman, not with his sketchy record. Fresh from saving the world (and nearly dying in doing so) and a divorce, what could Matt put on his resume to find something he loves to do when all the forces of real life are arrayed against him? Could include: Matt trying to put together his relevant experience in a way that doesn't reveal his ability/make him sound nuts, Molly rooting him on as he tries to find work, domestic stuff Matt tries because he is at home all day, Mohinder commiserating because he had to drive cab for a while even though he's a scientist (and if the commiserating turns physical, that's dandy!), Matt managing to pull out a win (even if in a small way).
