(no subject)
So I don't even remember when specifically the last time I updated was, but I'm pretty sure it was the one that I wrote at like 7:30 and had no recollection of it. So, whats been new with me is that I just got back from Europe on Tuesday night. That was the most amazing week of my life, let me tell you. I don't want to get into too much detail here, cause its long. so if you want to know, ask me and I'll tell you.
After Europe, I finished my exams and packed up my stuff, dropped it off at home and then headed out to Elmira. Those people are insane, but thats probably why I love them. I got to see Robb everyday I was there, so I was obviously happy about that. We went to this park off of Market St on Thursday night, then I had asked him if he wanted to go to a dance at EC, so that was Friday and thank god he was there. He and I were the two sober ones, so we made sure the really drunk people didn't hurt themselves. I feel bad that he had to spend half the night looking after my friends, but then the less drunk people started sobering up and were looking after the really drunk people, so we got to have a little time to go off and dance. It's so amazing though, for some reason when I was dancing with him, I didn't care that there were other people around, and usually I'm not big on public displays of affection, especially with another guy. But that didn't matter anymore, i know it's so cliche, but i felt like we were the only people on the dance floor, i also didn't care that we were dancing to the most annoying rap songs ever :P they played Buttons and Sexy back, those were the only good ones. Then after the dance, I asked if he wanted to break away from the dunk crowd, which was apparently going to Denny's, so we drove into Horseheads and talked in a parking lot until we got a call from them, but they forgot about me. boo. But it was okay, because we got to talk about whats going on between he and I, and we decided to give a relationship another go. and, I tell you what, I'm so happy because of it. It's awesome to be dating someone that even still after 7 months of knowing him, I still can't stop smiling when I hear his ring-tone, or when I know I'm going to see him. It's simply amazing.
Then on Saturday, was the May Days Carnival at EC, that was pretty kick ass. I also got to see Robb for about an hour before he had to go into work, which I later ended up stalking him at :P Actually Lauren had to go buy some earrings at Claire's and thats right next to "American Eagle Outfitters" (haha, inside joke), so we stopped in to "shop" and ironically, I actually found something I got a shirt with my 2 year old gift card :P Robb rang it out for me haha.
Sunday was kinda sad because I had to leave EC. But I said my goodbyes and then headed off to Erwin to do the same to Robb. We went to this really pretty park and talked for like an hour, then I had to return home for Mothers Day. Oh, I also met his parents on Sunday. They seem like very nice people. Apparently his dad usually grills his boyfriends when he brings them home, but didn't seem that bad to me. Maybe that just means it's coming later :P But I think it went over pretty well, especially for my only warning of it happened while i was in the car outside his house haha. good thing I looked somewhat responsible that day :P
Then I got home and gave my mom her mothers day gift (a set of 2 hand-painted Hungarian crystal wine glasses) she pretty much flipped :) I'm a good son. Then we got subway. My sister and I got subway yesterday for lunch and caught up. that was much needed, our schedules usually don't fit up well, so it was nice to get to have a conversation with her. Then I met up with my friend Tim from Buffalo, we've been trying to hang out since last summer, but failed miserably every time, so we hung out and it was pretty cool, I feel like I bored him though :P I got a haircut, and it looks pretty good :)
