Long Overdue Update
Much has occured since my last update including an amazing trip back to MA, so here I go:
Back to the 'Bridge-The Headlines
Friday:
-Reuniting and then a marathon Wendy's trip
-Driving around to about 5 different stores before going to Dunkin Donuts and stalking Cavs
Saturday and Sunday:
-Christmas with the family
Monday:
-Having some bad ass China P Orange CHICKEN!!!
-Random travels around Millbury before busting out on some Nintendo 64
Tuesday:
-Dinner in Millbury and then NHS basketball game to see my young-ens
-Free Pretzels and Orange Juliuses at the Auburn Mall
-Crazy girls at McDonald's
-AMF Bowling alley adventure
-'Tis the Season to leave people not so nice cards on their vehicles 0:-)
Wednesday:
-Shooting movies with Dave, John, Cavs, and Willllllley
-Movie Watching with Krista
-Crazy adventures to Lowell to find a very sketchy, closed Indoor Mini-Golf place
-Everyone sitting in Rachel's car in the NMS parking lot and talking for about an hour
Thursday:
-Peanut Butter & Jelly with Rachel and Matt at Wils' house while watching "The 40 Year Old Virgin"
-Spaghetti Dinner with intervention at the funeral home!
-Saw "Fun with Dick and Jane" with Krista
Friday:
-Marathon China P lunch trip with Willey and Wils (2 1/2 hours!)
-Trip to Shaw's to see Dev, have Willey pee on Cavs' car (in broad daylight!), and see Adam
-Going to Worcester with Dev and Willey on a deal of sorts where I befriended this nice Brazilian kid hahaha
-Watching Willey spend all sorts of money and coming back with a LARGE smile on his face :P
-Watched "Fever Pitch"
Saturday (New Year's Eve):
-Woke up early and went over Krista's around 10:30
-Watched 2 1/2 baseball movies (Fever Pitch, Rookie of the Year, and The Rookie)
-Napping :)
-Dinner with the family at Dino's where I swear my grandmother was on drugs
-A sad goodbye :(
-Meeting up with Adam and Wils
-Stopped by to say goodbye to Dev and Willey and make a pick-up
-Headed off to Grafton with Wils and Adam for a New Year's Shindig with my cousin
-Was messssssssssssy to say the least
Sunday:
-Was wickid sick in the morning
-Overslept
-Began my trip back to Illinois :/
Now that Northbridge has been covered, I'll tell you all a little bit about my trip to Job Shadow at the Federal Reserve in St. Louis. For all of you who doesn't know what the Federal Reserve is, it is the banking system for the government of which there is 12 locations in the United States, one of which is St. Louis.
-Met up with Alex and his friends over in Collinsville where they took me to this great restaurant in the city
-Watched the USC-Texas game
-Stayed in this sick hotel on the 20th floor with a great view of the Gateway Arch
-Woke up at about 7 to get ready for my day and to get all spiffy
-Reported to the bank around 8 where I got my tour including of the ginormous vault
-Saw millions upon millions upon millions of dollars
-Shadowed the Human Resources, Treasury Services, and Bank Regulation departments
-Ended the great day of work about 3:30 and I went on my way
Now for the update on Illini Basketball...
-I attended the most amazing home game on the 5th against #7 Michigan State!
-Dee lit them up for 34 points!
-We won by 10!
-I <3 ESPN Announcer Erin Andrews!
-I also attended the away game against Iowa on the 7th
-Their arena is underground, it's effed up!
-Dee got shut down, the refs sucked, we lost! :(
Coming up...
-I am having my wisdom teeth out on the 10th
-I am going to the Illinois-Michigan game on the 14th
-I will be back to school on the 15th for classes on the 17th
-Wils, Rachel, and Adam will be here in 9 days!
P.S. I got my first semester grades back and got a 3.22 GPA which is around a B+ so I can tolerate that but I'll be working my ass off to get that up!
