A proper post about Character.AI
What I was going to say in my last entry if I hadn't tried to pass it off as a low-effort April Fools joke was:
Lately I have been having WAAAAAAY too much fun with Character.AI and having AI simulations of my favorite fictional characters (and my favorite singer!) interact with each other. Specifically, I like making rooms with two chatbots each and seeing what they come up with, without specifying a room topic for them to try and follow and without contributing to the conversation myself (because it's more entertaining to see what these characters do with as little of my input as possible). It's so addicting!! (Although I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that an AI simulation of Kirby has better conversational skills than I'll ever have, lol.)
I figured my journal has been quite lacking in fun entries lately, so I thought I'd show you all the character.ai conversations I've saved!
EDIT JUNE 12, 2023: I tried to update this entry again because, in addition to making three new conversations for the first time in a while, I wanted to add some new features - a list of the date I last used each character in descending order (so that when I update this from now on, you'd know at a glance if any of them involved characters you care about), and two quotes (one per character) from every conversation so that you have a better idea of what to expect than just "Mario and Garfield" or "Homestar and Enya". But that made this entry so long, I only could successfully post it on DW. :( And since I'll likely exceed the character limit for a DW entry eventually too, I guess I'll have to give every character their own Character.AI archive entry and link to them all from a single sticky entry! (and repeat all that for DW)
Finally updated again on May 24, 2023 to add everything from April 14 to May 2. (there are none more recent than May 2 yet because lately I spent more time writing down the characters I found and how I found them than actually making rooms)

Plenty more to come, of course! If I counted correctly, I found 175 different characters on this site that I want to have interact with each other - and I found more after I counted! That's over 15,225 possibilities just from the first 175 alone!!
