You need to be more optimistic!

I was kinda joking when I said I'd only make it to January 3 or 5. I'll probably make it longer than that. A little longer, maybe, but longer.

I've already failed at two of my new years resolutions! :(

Technically, I can't fail my second one yet, because I allowed myself 48 days out of the year to procrastinate or have too many other things to do, so the worst I could do is use them all up the first 48 days of the year and then procrastinate or be too busy the day after that, which means I can't fail it before February 18. And I only said January 5 in the entry because I had forgotten to take into account that I get an average of 4 procrastination/too busy days each month, not for the whole year. :)

I'm doing good so far with the first one, too - I actually haven't done anything stupid yet this year, and that's saying a lot considering my broad definition of "stupid stuff" :)

That is a hilarious userpic, by the way!

That is good!! You thought it out well I think.

One of my resolutions was to not bite my nails. (I bit them already.) I should have been a bit easier on myself, and at least started with cutting down on biting my nails, rather than just stopping straight away. I read somewhere that most people have the habit of making their resolutions too hard, and with each resolution we should write 10 steps to get to that point. I don't know if that makes sense, I'm not articulating myself very well today. *yawn* Very tired. But you seem to have thought yours out much better than I did.

Thanks, I made my userpic! :)

Writing down 10 steps to get to the point would definitely help! I should try that next year if I fail one of these this year. :)
