I know, right? In fact, somehow I'm always really tired when I first wake up, but become less tired as the day progresses. If I'm not doing anything that involves electronics at about 10 PM, though, it goes back to normal - I start getting more tired.
In fact, remember that day that I had a 5-hour Energy in the afternoon and didn't sleep all night? I was able to get up early that day because I was less tired than usual.
