Chapte Three "Chinen's Past"
Sara is going to the school gym to participate the practice game with Kaji
“Let’s go Sara”, “We might be late” Kaji implied
Sara was tying her shoes “It’s okay you can go first” she proclaimed
Kaji smiled and left without hesitation then Chinen was standing in front of Sara
“Can I come and watch?” Chinen said so happily and Sara looks up at him and grin
“Sure you can and besides your cute girlfriend is playing too” she added
Chinen started to blush but they already went to the school gym
After a while
Sara was dribbling the ball but gave it to Sara and she suddenly shoots it at the ring
Then it shoots and the game was over and all of them were screaming for enjoyment while the audience cheer for them
Maki and Sara were smiling to each other while going back at the sides
Maki was drinking her water “Nice play” Chinen said with a cute smile
“Thank you” she replied while hugging Chinen “It’s because Sara-neechan pass it to me”
Chinen hug her back “Yeah! Sara is also the reason how we met” Maki implied “Yeah”
Flashback
Chinen was playing basketball by himself but Maki was getting her bag but saw him
“What are you doing, Chinen-senpai?” she asked
He was surprised “Oh! Sorry I didn’t know someone is here I thought its empty” and explained
“But why are you playing by yourself, senpai” she asked again
“Drop the polite part I’m still a third year junior high student” he willingly said
Maki shook her head “No! Because I’m only a first year junior high, newly transfer here”
“Oh?” Chinen didn’t say anything else “Anyway what’s wrong?”
She ask while going at the center of the court then he replied
“It’s nothing but I had a bet with my friends” he explained “But it seems I lost already”
Maki was curious “Why?”, “Because I ask a silly question to Sara about ‘What is Kiss?’”
She startled of what he said but she look at him
Chinen notice her and tried to avoid eye contact
“Sorry for telling some silly things”
“No! It’s okay” Maki declined “I want to know Chinen-senpai more”
She looks at him seriously but Chinen was embarrassed
“Um is it okay if I kiss you?” he asked seriously
Maki was a little shock but she smiled “Sure! Maybe you’ll find the answer”
Then Maki started to close her eyes and Chinen started to move his face
They kiss but only a smack because both of them are still young
After they kiss, both of them were quiet and couldn’t stop to blush
Chinen suddenly grab both of her hands “Maki, will you go out with me” he said it a loud
“Eh” she was speechless “Um… err…” but she just nodded yes
Chinen was so happy he suddenly hug her so tightly
Chinen and Maki are walking while holding hands
Yamada was playing soccer with Daiki, Keito and Ryutaro but he notice Chinen
Keito notice them and said while playing “Those two have been together lately”
“It can’t be help” Daiki implied while getting the ball from Keito “It was Sara made them together”
Yamada stop running when he heard Sara’s name “What’s wrong?”
Ryutaro asked and stop running as well
“Nothing” he said when his trying to endure his feelings
Daiki kick the ball towards him but Yamada dodge it
“Nothing?” Daiki said with an angry tone “It’s been one year now and you haven’t apologize to Sara”
“Hey! Stop it”, “We’re still at School” Keito implied while stopping Daiki
“Kimiko already know about you two and still nothing” Daiki added
But Yamada started to walk leaving his friends
Daiki was going to grab him but Keito is blocking him while Ryutaro is getting worried
“Don’t even try to get away from me” Daiki complained “I can’t do it for so long you’ve been my best friend until now but I can’t anymore”
Yamada didn’t stop walking but he just ignored him
Daiki was irritated “I’m going to steal Sara from you if you don’t fight your feelings for her”
He stops and looked at him “Interested?” Daiki said while smirking
Keito and Ryutaro were surprised
“You wouldn’t?” Keito was confused but Yamada asked “Why will you do that?”
Daiki look at him seriously “It’s because I like Sara just how you love her”
“If you don’t fight it then you’re going to lose because I’m not the only one who likes her”
He explained but Yamada was confused “EH!?!”
“It’s because Kei and Yuto likes her too” Daiki added
