Summary: All Arashi members have very different personalities and Ohno always knew behind his sharp tongue, Nino was hiding something.

Ohno had always loved Arashi. At the beginning, he had doubted Johnny's decision about forming a group with so different personalities. Sho was a workaholic who had lots of principles. Aiba was the cheerful of the band, Jun the most sensitive though, the diva tried to hide it behind his DoS side. Ohno was the one lost in another world where his only vocabulary was fish, fishing and painting. As much as good dancer, actor and singer as he was, he preferred to sleep or to stay alone on a boat all day with for only company, the fishes of Japan.
And there was Nino. The gamer of the group. The one who preferred to use the street's lights instead of his own to light his house. Because it cost too much money. The one who could stay in his apartment, playing at the games all day and eating hamburgers with beers. The one who was very bad at sport (because it cost too much efforts). The one who was very stingy and who had a very sharp tongue and could be sometimes a bit mean with the others.
But he was also very sensitive, bought expensive gifts for the Arashi's birthdays and his self-confidence wasn't as big as he liked to pretend.
So, Arashi's members were very different but they got along and became like a family, loving each others and taking all their decisions together.
Ohno opened the green room, still half asleep and found Nino and Jun arguing certainly about something stupid again. Jun and Nino loved each other but with their strong characters, they sometimes fought for idiot subjects like when Nino teased Jun about his hairstyle or his clothes. Of course, Jun's appearance was something sacred and teasing him about that could lead you to your own death.
"I swear I'm going to kick your ass, brat!" Jun growled.
"You wouldn't. With your ridiculous long shoes, you would fall before running one meter." Nino smirked.
"Kazu!!" Jun was about to jump on the older but Sho wrapped his lover from behind while Ohno was putting his hands on Kazu's shoulders.
"Jun, stop being so susceptible." The leader said softly, Nino smiling in victory. "And you Kazu, stop making fun of Jun, you're not 4 years old anymore." Ohno added.
"Mouuu Ohchan, you're not funny!" Nino whined.
"Apologize to Jun." Ohno smiled.
"Sorry, J." Nino muttered.
"Good boy." Ohno patted Nino's head before sitting on the sofa to finish his night. Nino sat next to him, allowing the leader to lay his head on his shoulder. Despite what he showed, Ohno knew the gamer wasn't as mean as he looked like. Nino was very sensitive and hadn't lots of self-confidence despite his tentatives to look like a Dom Juan. Ohno knew everything about Nino. Because Nino told him everything. They were very close and the gamer found in his leader, someone able to listen to him and understand him without emitting any judgement. Kazunari didn't give his trust easily after the ijime he went through some years ago. Besides Ohno, Jun was maybe the only one who knew the pains Nino hid inside. It was something that Satoshi loved. To be the one Nino talked to when he felt bad, to be the one Nino ran to when he needed to talk. He felt as if he was the most important in Nino's eyes and it helped him to deal with the love he felt for Kazunari. Because Ohno had been honest with himself a long time ago. What he felt was more than friendship. Nino ignored it but it didn't bother Ohno. As long as he was the number one in the gamer's eyes, he could handle these certainly unrequited feelings.

"Why were you so mean with the guest?!" Sho exclaimed when they left the shooting of Arashi ni shiyagare.
"I was just teasing her." Nino protested. "It's not a big deal."
"She almost cried! We are used to your stupid jokes and we deal with them but teasing a guest isn't acceptable!" The caster growled.
"Sho, don't be so mean with him." Aiba protested, trying to smooth the tensed atmosphere.
"He went too far!"
"Sho, let it go, Kazu was just trying to cheer up the atmosphere. She just hadn't any humor." Jun wrapped his lover's waist with a gentle smile.
"Okay but don't do it again. Come on, Ma-chan." Sho took his lover's hand, Jun throwing an apologetic look to Ohno who shook his head with a smile. Nino's head was lowered, the sign he was trying not to cry.
"Sho is tired, don't mind his words." Ohno said softly.
"Was I too harsh?" Nino whispered.

"Let's go home, I will cook you something while you play at Mario." Ohno finally pulled away before he could jump on Nino's lips to claim them.
"Yatta!! Satoshi is the best!!" Nino exclaimed like a child receiving his Christmas gift. The leader smiled tenderly. Sometimes, Nino looked so innocent, so fragile unlike the image he showed to the camera. The gamer could get hurt so easily when someone was a bit harsh with him, he always felt rejected and hated during these moments even if the person was just angry and didn't think her words.
"Sleep with me." Nino begged when they cleaned the dishes after Ohno's chahan this night. The leader sighed. If Nino knew how much this sentence really meant to him.

Nino really tried. He tried not to tease Jun or Aiba and not to make fun of the guest but it worked only for some minutes. Aiba was Aiba and just screamed some 'Oi', Jun chose to ignore the gamer's sentence not to make the first murder of his life in front pf the world. But the guest didn't accept Nino's sharp remarks at all and almost left the shooting though, Nino hadn't been nasty but just teased him a lot. It seemed the guest was more susceptible than Jun which was an achievement.
"You crossed the line, Nino!" Sho exclaimed angrily.
"But it was just some jokes... I wasn't that nasty!" Nino protested.
"You never know when to stop! I'm starting to think you love to act like a true asshole!"
"Sho!" Aiba protested.
"Stop it with your 'Sho'! What Johnny will say?! It's not him who has to deal with the boss after his 'jokes' like he says! You're a burden, Nino!" The caster snapped.
"Enough!" Everybody jumped at Ohno's cold voice.
"He is right... I'm sorry..." Nino whispered before running away.
"Kazu!" The leader exclaimed. "Are you satisfied?!" Ohno turned toward Sho with a death glare like when he played in Maou.
"I... Sorry... I'm stressed and was too mean but he has to understand he can't act like that with the guests."
"And you needed to be so nasty?! Kazu is sensitive, he just jokes for fun!"

"And you can't be so nasty and unfair! You don't know him at all after all this time! Idiot!" Ohno who was known for his legendary calm screamed before leaving. The leader asked his manager to go to Nino's apartment. The gamer must be a mess after so harsh words and would need some comfort. But the gamer never answered when Ohno knocked on his door and called him for hours.
Nino was curled in a ball in his bed, crying softly. He knew Sho was right but his jokes weren't said to hurt the guests, it was just for fun and to make everybody laughs. He maybe looked like an asshole but it was only a game he played to hide his sensitive personality. People had often taken advantage of his weakness, playing with him and his feelings. With time, he had built a wall between him and the world to protect his heart.
He never answered Ohno's calls, preferring to stay alone to cry peacefully. He knew Sho was right and maybe he was a bad person.
The shooting of the next ANS was one week later. Nino had prepared himself after all these days without seeing his friends. This time, he wouldn't bother anyone and would act like the adult he was. He came as late as possible and ignoring his friend's looks, took his place next to Ohno. For the whole TV show, the gamer barely talked, not even joking but just smiling and laughing falsely under Ohno's worried look.
When the shooting ended, the gamer left right away, not waiting or talking with his friends.
"Kazu, open the door!" Ohno implored. After several minutes, Nino finally opened, looking at the leader with questioning eyes.
"What's wrong riida?"
"Stop trying to hide your sadness. I know you more than that."
"What do you mean?" Nino frowned.
"I know Sho hurt you a lot. Stop trying to look fine when you are not." Ohno wrapped the younger in his arms.
"I deserved it..." Nino whispered.
"No. Sho was too mean and he regrets his words. You didn't do anything wrong."
"I'm just a brat and a loser."
"Idiot!" Ohno snapped, making Nino raise his crying face in surprise. The leader closed the door behind them. "You're not a loser. I know you by heart, you can't hide anything from me!"

There was nothing sexual but just love and tenderness, Ohno's hand lost in Nino's hair as their mouths were tasting each others with happiness, teasing, playing. They kept kissing for long minutes before the older pressed Nino in his arms to hug him tightly.
"Will you stay with me tonight?" Nino blushed a bit.
"Yes. And all the other nights." Ohno grinned.

"Nino." Sho stood up shyly. "I wanted to apologize. I didn't mean my words."

"No. I... At the last recording, when you were quiet, I realized how much your jokes are important for us. It cheers up us and makes us laugh. It's not the same if you don't tease us or the guests."

"We love you, Nino. Like you are. With your sharp tongue but also your kindness. You're an amazing friend. Don't ever change, life would be too boring if there weren't your sharp tongue and your arrogance to make us laugh." Sho smiled.

Yes, he was maybe a bit mean but he also had a big heart that only the persons he loved could see. These were his true colors and he was definitely proud of them.
