Chapter 14: What I am
"Sho, will you tell me everything?' Aiba asked.
"I can't."
"Why?"
"Because like you, I have forgotten my memories but I know someone who could make us remember everything."
"Who?" Aiba grinned.
"Come with me, babe." Sho took Aiba's hand and both disappeared of the room.
"Sakurai, what a good surprise!"
"Leave it Yoko-chan, you knew I would come before I even think about it." Sho smirked.
"Hey, I'm trying to look like a normal human." Yoko laughed but hugged his old friend.
"Masaki, this my friend Yokoyama You. He isn't a vampire he is a wizard." Sho explained to his lost lover.
"A wizard?"
"Yes. The best wizard I know and the most sadistic."
"Stop it Shoko, you'll make me blush." Yoko smirked.
"Yoko can see the past and he will make us remember." Sho chuckled.
"Thank you very much!" Aiba beamed.
"He is cute. Are you sure you don't want to leave him to me Sho?"
"Shut up brat!" Sho growled, wrapping Aiba in his arms in a possessive way.
"Just kidding. So, to be serious, sit on this sofa, I will prepare the mixture. But I have to warn you, there are some risks when you touch someone's memories."
"What do you mean?"
"I will make you dive in a deep coma, like that, you will find your own past. You will see yourself and what happened but nobody will be able to see you and you can't change anything of what happened. It's like a fake reality. You will be together but don't forget it's your past and you can't stay there even if you want to. So, when you'll have everything you wanted to know, you'll have to come back by yourself. And I can't do anything for you. If one of you don't come back, then, he will stay in a deep coma."
"Alright." Sho took Aiba's hand, forcing a smile. "I trust you Masaki."
"Me too, I know you'll come back." Aiba grinned.
"Perfect. Now, drink that." Yoko held them out two glasses of a yellow mixture. They shared a last kiss before swallowing the drinks. After some seconds, both collapsed on the sofa.
Sho blinked, seeing a familiar castle in front of him. It was his family's castle but Aiba wasn't here.
"Sho!" Sho jumped and soon smiled, seeing his mother calling him.
"Okaa-san!" Sho tried to hug her but his body crossed her's.
"Okaa-san?" A young voice asked. Turning his head, Sho blinked, seeing himself but younger. He looked 12 years old not more.
"Sho, we are going to meet our friends, come with us."
"Hai!" Young Sho nodded, following his mother.
They arrived in front of a big and amazing castle, surrounded by a forest. A woman waved her hand to them and hugged his mother kindly as if they were two sisters.
It was like in Sho's previous dream.
"And this is my older son, Sho." Sousuke said.
"Ohhh he is very cute, I'm sure he will like our son." The woman smiled, patting young Sho's head.
"Your son?" Sho blinked.
"Yes. Masaki?!" The woman called and some seconds later a five years old boy stormed in the living room.
"Kaa-chan?"
"This is Sho Sakurai, he is twelve years old, I hope you will be friends."
"Nice to meet you, Sho-san!" Aiba looked at Sho with a big smile, making the older gasp. The young boy was very cute with his black hair and his amazing smile.
"Ni-ce to meet you, Aiba-san."
"Mouuu call me Masaki!" Aiba pouted cutely.
"Masaki-kun." Sho smiled.
"Come on!" Aiba grabbed his hand, making Sho's heart stop.
At this moment, a wave of different feelings invaded Sho's heart. He started to remember his past now. The moment he had met Aiba, the feelings that had crossed his heart when he had seen this cute little boy running toward them.
"Sho!" The vampire thought he was dreaming when he saw his lover running toward him.
"Masaki, I was worried sick, you were here all this time?!" Sho hugged his lover tightly.
"Yes. I was in my parent's castle. Did you see? We met when I was 5 years old!" Aiba exclaimed, looking at the two boys playing with the puppies.
"You were already so beautiful baby." Sho grinned, kissing his boyfriend's cheek.
"You too."
"I fell in love with you at first sight." Sho whispered, kneeling down next to the young Masaki who was laughing because one of his puppies was licking his cheek.
"I fell for you too but I didn't know it, I was too young to understand you were the new part of my heart." Aiba said shyly.
"I love you." Sho smiled. "We should go inside to see if our parents knew that." Taking his lover's hand, Sho led them inside and sat on a sofa where their parents were talking.
"Do you think it worked?" Sho's father asked.
"Yes. I've seen Sho's eyes. The bond is created." Sho's mother smiled.
"Will he be able to protect my Masaki?" Aiba's mother asked worriedly.
"Yes. They are meant to be together before Masaki's birth. It was written." Sho's father nodded.
Sho frowned in front of the scene. Why does his father said they were bonded before their births? The vampire looked at his lover next to him but Masaki wasn't here anymore. The younger was next to his mother, trying to touch her, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Machan..." Sho patted his shoulder.
"She is so beautiful... I just realize now how much I miss her." Aiba sobbed.
"I know babe. You look like her..."
"You know, I've grown up in an orphan and all my life I wondered what I had done to make my parents abandon me but... They never abandoned me... I... They are dead..." Aiba cried.
"I promise we'll remember what happened and I'll kill the one who killed them. Don't cry, Masaki, please." Sho wrapped his lover in his arms, tears rolling down his pale cheeks.
Suddenly, Aiba's mother turned her head toward them.
"Masaki?" She asked with a soft beautiful voice.
"Mom?! You can see me?!" Aiba screamed.
"Yes. I knew this day would come. You've grown up. You became a so beautiful man my son."
"Mom..." Aiba jumped in her arms, crying loudly.
"I'm here my love. I'm here."
"How can you see us, it's impossible." Sho exclaimed.
"I knew this day would come, Yoko-chan warned me and helped me to prepare this day. I'm not alive, I'm just Masaki's heart reflexion. I'm here to explain you everything and to help you. Come with me." She stood up with grace, her long black hair flowing with her movements.
"Dad..." Aiba looked at his father with sadness.
"I'm sorry Machan, but he couldn't come." Hanako sighed.
They entered a big room with lots of old books inside. Hanako sat on a sofa, Aiba against her in her arms as if he still was a little child.
"I think you have lots of questions my son." Hanako smiled, stroking Aiba's soft hair tenderly.
"Hun. What am I? Am I really a monster?"
"Don't ever say that again!" Hanako snapped before smiling when her son froze. "Masaki, you're the most amazing person of this damn world. I need to explain everything before. Sho-kun, give me this book." She asked.
"This one?"
"Yes. You also became a gorgeous man, dear." Hanako chuckled. "Masaki, I'm not a vampire like your father, that's why you just have a part of your father in you. I met your father when I was 20 years old. He was chasing and stopped next to a river to drink a bit. Normally, I had to seduce the men who came to drink in this river to kill them after but when I saw your father's amazing eyes, I stopped."
"Why did you have to kill him?"
"Because it was my mission. I'm a Nymph and especially a Naiad. A Naiad is the water's spirit and our mission is to protect the river where we live. That's why, to seduce men, we are have an amazing beauty." Hanako explained. Sho stared at her. It was true. Masaki's mother was just gorgeous with her pale face, her green eyes and her long soft black hair. "But this day, I fell for your father. He was kind and soft, his orange shining eyes were attracting me like a butterfly toward a light. But I couldn't leave my river. It was forbidden and plus, I couldn't cut my bonds with my family. That's why I asked your father to bite me. This act broke my bonds with the river and I followed him to his castle. His family adopted me even though our couple wasn't allowed. We married and one year later, you came. You, my beautiful son, my precious. When they laid you on my chest, you looked at me with your amazing green eyes and I understood you became the most precious thing I had in my life. But there was one problem. Despite your kindness, you were half vampire and half Naiad, that's why it was dangerous because you couldn't control your powers."
"My powers?"
"Yes. You had vampire's powers but also some Naiad's powers. You can control an element. The wind. At your 2 years old, you found your cat dead in the grass and started to cry. You created a storm and it destroyed half of the village next to our castle. When your feelings were overwhelming your heart, you couldn't control you powers and it became dangerous. Plus, as you were half vampire, you also could teleport yourself and one day, we lost you during one week. I cried so much and we searched you for so many hours. And one week later, you came back, drench, oils covering your clothes, scratches on your arms and legs with a kitten in your arms. This day, I thought I would kill you for making me worry all this time. Despite our warnings, sometimes, you were disappearing of the castle to come back some days later with dirty clothes and a new animal in your arms. You were almost five years old." Hanako smiled tenderly, kissing her son's forehead.
"I was a horrible son ne?"
"No. You were amazing but so stubborn. We couldn't control your powers and you loved to make us jokes. But you stopped at your five years old. You stopped when you met Sho." Hanako chuckled. Sho sat next to his lover, taking his hand to kiss his fingers. "Sho and you were bonded before your births because our families were bonded."
"Eh?!"
"Yes, Shouta-kun. Your great great great grand-father, Sho Sakurai, was bonded to Masaki's great great great grand-mother, Aiba Masaki."
"She had my name?" Aiba exclaimed.
"Yes. Masaki is also a girl's name you know. But it's not the most important.
As you know, we are a family of Naiad and your father's vampire, so, we shouldn't have had any links before your birth."

They met in secret for some months because their relationship wasn't allowed but Masaki got pregnant and ran away. After the baby's birth, Sho's cousin found them and killed them with the baby. Even if they also were against this relationship, Aiba's family killed Sho's cousin after this murder."

"Aiba and Sakurai's families became bonded. I think it's one of the reasons I fell for your father, because you were meant to meet Sho. Time passed and then, I met your father and you born. At the beginning, none of us saw it but your father understood when you said your first word. It wasn't papa or mama."

"I can't my love and don't forget you're not alone, you have Sho and your friends. Be happy my son, you deserve it. I'll always love you, sweetheart." Hanako took her necklace off and put it around Masaki's neck with a last kiss on his forehead. "I love you Masaki." She smiled a last time before disappearing.
"Mom!!!" Aiba cried with despair.
"She is gone, Machan." Sho wrapped his lover in his arms, rocking him slowly.
"Wh-y? Why did she leave me again?" Aiba sobbed.
"She is dead, Masaki, she couldn't stay and you know it. I'm here for you. I love you." Sho cupped his beloved's face to kiss him tenderly.

"I'll protect you from everything Machan, you are my life." The young vampire whispered.
"What happened to them?"
"I think we have to find the young Masaki and Sho to remember." Sho took his lover's hand and both left the castle.
They found young Masaki and Sho playing with some puppies happily. But suddenly, the landscape changed.
"Sho-chan?" Aiba tightened his grip around Sho's hand.
"I think we are going to see ourselves older."
"But..." A loud moan cut Aiba off, and turning their heads, they saw themselves making love or rather Sho fucking Aiba roughly. Aiba blushed deeply when he heard himself screaming in pleasure while his lover was moving wildly.
"I remember this day. Our first time." Sho whispered, hugging the younger from behind.
"Yes. Me too. You were so rough but so soft at the same time." Aiba smiled.
"And you so loud." Sho smirked.
"Mouuu..." Aiba pouted. They stared at the couple on the bed and Sho caught Aiba's lips when the young Masaki whispered a "I love you" to his young boyfriend.

Suddenly, guards yelled at the door and the two lovers left the bed with panicked faces.
"Sakurai-sama, someone is attacking the castle!" A guard said.
"What?"
"They want your mate!"
"Okay. Go outside, protect the castle, I'm coming." Sho replied.
"Sho-chan?" Aiba asked, lost.
"They come to kidnap you. I'll make you leave the castle discreetly." Sho said quickly, giving some clothes to his lover.

"I swear they won't have you baby. I'll protect you." Sho kissed his boyfriend.
"I don't want to go without you!" Aiba exclaimed.
"You have to. I'll find you again, don't worry."
"But..."
"Please babe, run away." Sho implored.
"I..." The door of the bedroom exploded, showing an old and powerful vampire.
"Hello, Sho!" The vampire smiled.
"Gackt..." Sho froze, pushing his boyfriend behind his back.

"It's the reason why you two are bonded, why Masaki's first word was your name Sho-kun and why you fell in love at first sight when you met. Because you were meant to be together again."
"So, when Sho-chan came this day, you knew we would fall in love immediately?" Aiba asked.
"Yes. Sho is meant to love and protect you with his life, Masaki."
"But what happened after?"
"I wasn't here this day, you have to remember by yourself."
"But you died..."
"Yes. To protect our lovely precious son, your father and I chose to die but we never regretted it, Masaki. You were our little treasure, nothing counted but your life and happiness with Sho."
"But... B-ut I gre-w up without you." Aiba sobbed.
"I know you suffered a lot my love but we knew Sho would make you happy dear. We never stopped to watch you and we are so proud of what you became. A kind and honest beautiful man who always tries to smile even if he is sad. Your heart is so pure Masaki despite what you went through. If your father was here, he would agree."
"Mom..." Aiba buried his face in his mother's neck, crying loudly.
"I'm here my precious, I will never leave you. I'm so proud of you, I love you so much my love." Hanako hugged her son tightly, tears leaving her beautiful green eyes.
"Stay with me."
"I'll be in your heart Masaki but now, it's time for me to leave."
"No! I don't want to! Please stay with me, I'm nothing without you!!" Aiba implored, gripping his mother's dress with despair.
"I can't my love and don't forget you're not alone, you have Sho and your friends. Be happy my son, you deserve it. I'll always love you, sweetheart." Hanako took her necklace off and put it around Masaki's neck with a last kiss on his forehead. "I love you Masaki." She smiled a last time before disappearing.
"Mom!!!" Aiba cried with despair.
"She is gone, Machan." Sho wrapped his lover in his arms, rocking him slowly.
"Wh-y? Why did she leave me again?" Aiba sobbed.
"She is dead, Masaki, she couldn't stay and you know it. I'm here for you. I love you." Sho cupped his beloved's face to kiss him tenderly.
"I love you too, Sho-chan."
"I'll protect you from everything Machan, you are my life." The young vampire whispered.
"What happened to them?"
"I think we have to find the young Masaki and Sho to remember." Sho took his lover's hand and both left the castle.
They found young Masaki and Sho playing with some puppies happily. But suddenly, the landscape changed.
"Sho-chan?" Aiba tightened his grip around Sho's hand.
"I think we are going to see ourselves older."
"But..." A loud moan cut Aiba off, and turning their heads, they saw themselves making love or rather Sho fucking Aiba roughly. Aiba blushed deeply when he heard himself screaming in pleasure while his lover was moving wildly.
"I remember this day. Our first time." Sho whispered, hugging the younger from behind.
"Yes. Me too. You were so rough but so soft at the same time." Aiba smiled.
"And you so loud." Sho smirked.
"Mouuu..." Aiba pouted. They stared at the couple on the bed and Sho caught Aiba's lips when the young Masaki whispered a "I love you" to his young boyfriend.
"I love you too." Sho whispered.
Suddenly, guards yelled at the door and the two lovers left the bed with panicked faces.
"Sakurai-sama, someone is attacking the castle!" A guard said.
"What?"
"They want your mate!"
"Okay. Go outside, protect the castle, I'm coming." Sho replied.
"Sho-chan?" Aiba asked, lost.
"They come to kidnap you. I'll make you leave the castle discreetly." Sho said quickly, giving some clothes to his lover.
"What?"
"I swear they won't have you baby. I'll protect you." Sho kissed his boyfriend.
"I don't want to go without you!" Aiba exclaimed.
"You have to. I'll find you again, don't worry."
"But..."
"Please babe, run away." Sho implored.
"I..." The door of the bedroom exploded, showing an old and powerful vampire.
"Hello, Sho!" The vampire smiled.
"Gackt..." Sho froze, pushing his boyfriend behind his back.

A/N: Here almost the whole past of Aiba xD it just misses what happened after but you'll know in the next chapter.
