Summary: Ohno looses his voice after a traumatic experience. He is desperate and alone, rejected by the others because of his silence. One day, he meets Jun, a young diver addicted to the sea. With Jun's help, Ohno discovers another world where the silence is the most precious thing. Together, they learn another language: the language of the sea.
Chapter 14:
Jun was looking at the street through the window of Ohno's bedroom. The sky was as grey as Jun's heart and the wind was blowing roughly. The ex diver blew on the glass to draw something on it: Satoshi & Jun.
A tear rolled down Jun's cheek. It was so painful how useless he felt for his sleeping boyfriend.
"Jun." Nino whispered, hugging his friend from behind.
"I know." Jun answered with a broken voice.
"It's the better way for you two. Ohchan has suffered enough and you have too." Nino said with a soft voice.
"I KNOW KAZU!" Jun yelled, punching the glass with his fist. His hand crossed the window, breaking the glass in lots of fragments. Jun's hand was bleeding but he couldn't feel any pain, his heart was aching too much.
"Jun!" Nino shouted and, taking his friend's hand, he called a nurse.

"He broke a window?!" Sho exclaimed, shocked.
"Yes. I don't know what to do, Sho-chan, I... I'm lost. I know it's horrible to try to convince him to do that but... But he is suffering!" Nino bit his lip, trying to hold back his tears.
"I know, Nino but you're right, Satoshi won't come back, now, it's a crime to keep him here, he would be free, not tie up to a bed with a machine." Sho said, patting his friend's shoulder.
Aiba looked at his boyfriend and left without a word.
"Masaki." Sho tried to grab his arm but the younger pushed him away.
Aiba was ignoring Sho for almost two weeks, now. He had left their apartment and was sleeping next to Jun every night. The animal lover wanted to support his best friend with all his strength.
"Jun, are you all right?" Aiba entered the bedroom where Jun was laying on a bed.
"Yes." Jun smiled but Aiba could see it was a fake smile like the others he was making for more than two years.
"Your hand?"
"14 stitches." Jun chuckled, lifting up his harmed hand.
"Jun-kun is so strong!" Aiba laughed.
"When I'm very angry, yes." Jun smiled sadly.
"Jun, about Nino..."
"I know, Ma-chan, he is right, Satoshi won't come back, now."
"No, listen to me, Jun. You don't have to do that if you’re not ready. He can come back, I'm sure he can." Aiba put his hand on Jun's who smiled weakly.
"Thanks, Ma-chan. You're the only one who understands me. But it's been two years, now and... He is gone, Masaki, Satoshi is gone!" Jun burst into tears.
"Don't say that, Jun, I'm sure he is still here, he just needs time to come back, he had very bad injuries after all." Aiba sobbed, hugging his friend.
"I don't know what to do, Masa, I'm lost, I... I'm tired of all that. I just want to die, I don’t have the strength to bear that anymore." Jun whispered. "But I can't let him go. I can't stop his heart, I can't make him close his eyes forever." Jun grabbed his hair with both hands, tears rolling down his cheeks like a waterfall.
"I know, Jun, I know. But I'm here for you, I'll respect your choice, even if I don’t agree with it." Aiba wiped the tears on his friend's cheeks, smiling kindly.
"Thanks, Masaki, thanks for being here since the beginning."
"Eh, I'm your friend, it's normal between friends to help each other." Aiba stroked Jun's hair. "But for now, you need some sleep, you're white as a ghost, dear." Aiba laid Jun on the bed who closed his eyes and fell asleep in two seconds.
"He is asleep?" Sho asked to his lover who nodded. "Masaki..." Sho started but Aiba cut him off.
"It's over, Sho."
"Eh??"
"If you kill Ohchan, it's over between us." Aiba repeated coldly.
"Masaki, baby..."
"I can't let you do that to Jun and Ohchan. I leave you the choice, if you want to stop Ohno's heart, I won't come back home, Sho."
"You're unfair, Masaki!" Sho protested.
"No. I'm fair. Jun needs our support. I wouldn't be able to look at you in the eyes if you kill Ohchan."
"You don't understand, Masaki. Ohchan is suffering, we can't let him on this bed for the rest of his life. He deserves to leave, he deserves to be free." Sho said softly.
"No, Sho, YOU, you don't understand. Jun and Ohchan's bond is very strong, Jun can't stop his heart so easily. You can't take away a life like that, Sho." Aiba replied, moving back when his boyfriend tried to touch him.
"Baby, I understand your opinion but both of them are suffering."
"And if we stop Ohchan's heart, don't you think you will ask yourself if he was really gone? Maybe Ohchan would wake up tomorrow or in a week but if you kill him, how will you know? Are you ready to face the reality, the fact you'll have put an end to an innocent life? Are you ready to bear that?!" Aiba exclaimed.
"Masaki..."
"Come with me." Aiba cut him off and left Jun's bedroom.
Sho followed his boyfriend and Aiba stopped when they arrived in front of a bedroom.
"Ohayou, Sora-kun!" Aiba exclaimed to a young boy who smiled brightly.
"Ohayou, Aiba-san!"
"This is my friend, Sho. Sho, this is Sora, my friend." Sho looked at the boy. He seemed to be 12 years old. He was lying in a bed, a big bandage around his chest.
"Nice to meet you, Sakurai-san." Sora bowed with a shy smile.
"You too. But call me Sho." The older grinned.
"I met Sora-kun two years ago when Ohchan was brought here." Aiba explained.
"Why are you here?" Sho asked to the young boy.
"I had a car accident."
"Sora was in coma, he woke up six months ago." Aiba said.
"Eh?" Sho’s eyes widened, shocked.
"Sora stayed in coma during four years."
"Four years?!" Sho exclaimed in disbelief.
"Yes, Mama couldn't stop the machine, even if Yamapi-sensei told her I wouldn't wake up." Sora smiled sadly.
"How was it?" Sho asked and the young boy understood what he meant.
"It was as if I was sleeping. But I remember I heard my mum's voice sometimes. I remember she was crying everyday and I could feel her hand holding mine."
"Do you remember what she told you?"
"A few things. I remember she was begging me to come back. She said she loved me."
"But..."
"I came back thanks to her. I was sleeping because I felt very weak. But every time my mum was talking to me, it was as if she was giving me some strength. It took me a long time to be strong enough to come back but I did it thanks to her. I couldn't bear her sadness and I fought for her." Sora smiled.
"But after four years, didn't you have some sequels?
"No. I'm lucky, I know." Everybody stayed silent for a while before Aiba grabbed his lover's arm.
"Come with me, Sho. See you later, Sora-kun!" Aiba waved his hand and the boy made a bright smile.
They walked in silence, Sho wondering where Aiba was leading him.
Sho looked at the door in front of them.
"What are we doing here, Masaki?" But Aiba opened the door without a word.
"I'm not going to change my mind about us if you stop Ohchan's heart. Now, look at him. Look at him and make a choice. But if you stop the machine I won't come back, Sho. Look at him and explain to him you're going to take him away from the most important person of his life." Aiba whispered and left the bedroom.
Sho looked at the peaceful sleeping face and took his hand. The machine resounding in the whole bedroom, showing how Ohno's heart was beating calmly.
"I'm sorry, Satoshi-kun." Sho whispered. "I like you, you're my friend but I can't bear how Jun is suffering because you are in this state. He is my best friend, Ohchan, I love him, he is destroying himself and it's so painful seeing him like that. I don't know what to do. Maybe Masaki is right, maybe you could wake up but if you don't, how Jun will be able to move on? And don't you suffer, being tied up to this bed with this machine and this mask on your face? What is the good choice? What is the best choice for Jun and you? Tell me, Ohchan. Tell me what to do?" Sho whispered, a tear rolling down his face.

Jun left his bedroom and sat next to his lover, taking his hand in his.
"How are you today, my love?" Ohno's eyes stayed closed. He was still breathing in his mask, sleeping peacefully.
"You know, work was very annoying today more than when I was teaching diving to the families. Hinata comes everyday, I think she hopes for your return. I don't dive anymore it's too painful, I was always seeing your face when I was in the water, that's why I stopped. Don't be angry, my love but I'm too weak, I can't bear it. Yume is waiting for your return too, you know. You always fed him and now, he looks sad, I think he misses you. See, everybody is waiting for your return, why don't you come back?" Jun asked but his lover didn't answer.
"Is it true, Toshi? Do I have to stop your suffering? Do I have to stop the machine? I can't live without you, sweetheart, I can't survive if you’re not next to me. Tell me, please, tell what I have to do, my love." Jun's voice died in his throat.
"Why? Why are you so mean to me? Why do you hurt me like that? If you leave... If you leave I'll stop my life with my own hands, baby." Jun kissed Ohno's palm lovingly and fell asleep.
"Jun!!!" Jun grinned when he saw his boyfriend waving his hand at him.
"Satoshi!" Jun made a step but Ohno ran away, laughing. The diver chuckled and after a while, caught his lover's arm and both fell on the sand, Jun on top of Ohno, laughing loudly.
"Jun!" Ohno stroked the younger's cheek who closed his eyes happily.
"Say my name again."
"Jun." Ohno smiled and kissed his boyfriend who hugged him tightly.
"I missed your beautiful voice so much, baby." Jun stroked Ohno's face with the tip of his nose, making the older laugh.
"I love you, Jun."
"I love you too, baby." Jun buried his face in his neck.
"Jun?" Ohno squizzed his hand and the diver raised his head.
Jun jumped. It was a dream. But the diver blinked when he felt something on his hand. He looked down and saw Ohno's fingers moving slightly.
"Satoshi?" Jun whispered.
Another weak movement.
"Satoshi??!!!" Jun called the doctor who rushed inside the bedroom.
"Ohno-san, do you hear me?" Yamapi asked. "Ohno-san?"
There was a bit silence and Ohno opened his eyes with difficulty after a long moment.
"It's a miracle." Yamapi said.
Jun didn't say anything. His eyes and his mouth were wide opened. He thought he was dreaming.
"We need to make some test to check his vitals." Yamapi explained and two nurses came to keep Ohno with them. "I'm very happy for you, Jun." Yamapi patted Jun's shoulder kindly and left the bedroom.
Jun stayed like that, looking at the gap. His brain seemed disconnected from reality. He was in a deep shock.
"Jun! Yamapi called me, Ohchan is awake?!" Nino almost yelled, rushing in the bedroom.
Jun didn't answer. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. Nino kneeled in front of him and touched his face.
"He is alive, Jun. Satoshi is alive." Nino smiled but the younger looked at him with empty eyes.
"He is shocked." Yamapi explained, entering into the bedroom.
"Shocked?"
"Yes, sometimes, when something is too amazing, a person can stay paralyzed. Her brain builds a wall between her and the world to protect herself." The doctor explained, patting Nino's shoulder.
"But how long..."
"Not too long, don't worry. It's a big shock for Jun and he needs time to realize what’s happening." Yamapi smiled and kneeled in front of Jun, taking his hand. "Jun, Satoshi-kun is all right, he even said your name."
Jun blinked at the words but didn't answer.
"Let him some time to realize, Nino."
The gamer nodded and took his friend's hand.
"When will we be able to see him?"
"In a few minutes, we are checking all his vitals but he seems well." Yamapi smiled and left the bedroom.

"Nino!" Aiba ran toward the singer who smiled.
"Ohchan is all right, we are waiting for him, he is with Yamapi."
"I'm sooo happy!" Aiba exclaimed, tears of joy rolling down his cheeks.
"I hope his brain is undamaged." Nino mumbled.
"What do you mean?"
"Ohchan had pretty bad injuries and he stayed in coma during two years, he could have some damage to his brain." Nino smiled sadly.
"I'm sure he'll be all right, he is our Ohchan, he is strong, I'm sure he came back for Jun." Aiba grinned, happily. "Speaking about Jun, where is he?"
"With a nurse, he is very shocked."
"He is..."
"He is all right but he doesn't react since Ohchan woke up."
"I see."
"I have to apology, Aiba-chan, you were right about Ohno." Nino bowed.
"Don't be. Ohchan came back, it's the most important." Aiba smiled.
"Ma-chan..."
Sho spoke for the first time since their arrival and the younger hugged his boyfriend.
"I know, Sho. I love you."
"I love you too, Masaki. Thank you." Sho smiled through his tears.
It was a great day for the four best friends or maybe not...
When Yamapi allowed them to see Ohno, the three friends rushed to the bedroom. Jun was still a bit shocked but this time was able to react. When he saw Ohno's eyes open, Jun started to cry loudly. Yamapi smiled and let him approach.
"He was calling your name since he woke up." The doctor patted his shoulder kindly.
"Satoshi..." Jun whispered, taking Ohno's hand.
But Ohno did something Jun wasn't expecting. Satoshi pushed his hand away with a frown.
"Who are you?"
Jun's heart almost stopped when he heard him.
"I want to see Jun." Ohno looked at Yamapi with sad eyes.
"Toshi, my love, it's me, Jun."
"I don't know who you are." Ohno stared at his lover with surprised eyes.

A/N: Ano... sorry for this nasty cut xD for the readers who maybe hadn't understand, Ohchan remembers Jun as his boyfriend but only his voice, he can't remember his face, that's why he'll reject Jun. Maybe it's a little bit weird but after two years in coma, his brain is very fragile and he has some sequels, sorry for this, I know it's mean for Jun but... okay, I have none excuse but it will be a new challenge for Jun and we will see if he can fight for Ohchan again or will give up, too tired because of his pain ^^ thank you for reading and comments are <3 ^.^

"Not too long, don't worry. It's a big shock for Jun and he needs time to realize what’s happening." Yamapi smiled and kneeled in front of Jun, taking his hand. "Jun, Satoshi-kun is all right, he even said your name."
Jun blinked at the words but didn't answer.
"Let him some time to realize, Nino."
The gamer nodded and took his friend's hand.
"When will we be able to see him?"
"In a few minutes, we are checking all his vitals but he seems well." Yamapi smiled and left the bedroom.

"Nino!" Aiba ran toward the singer who smiled.
"Ohchan is all right, we are waiting for him, he is with Yamapi."
"I'm sooo happy!" Aiba exclaimed, tears of joy rolling down his cheeks.
"I hope his brain is undamaged." Nino mumbled.
"What do you mean?"
"Ohchan had pretty bad injuries and he stayed in coma during two years, he could have some damage to his brain." Nino smiled sadly.
"I'm sure he'll be all right, he is our Ohchan, he is strong, I'm sure he came back for Jun." Aiba grinned, happily. "Speaking about Jun, where is he?"
"With a nurse, he is very shocked."
"He is..."
"He is all right but he doesn't react since Ohchan woke up."
"I see."
"I have to apology, Aiba-chan, you were right about Ohno." Nino bowed.
"Don't be. Ohchan came back, it's the most important." Aiba smiled.
"Ma-chan..."
Sho spoke for the first time since their arrival and the younger hugged his boyfriend.
"I know, Sho. I love you."
"I love you too, Masaki. Thank you." Sho smiled through his tears.
It was a great day for the four best friends or maybe not...
When Yamapi allowed them to see Ohno, the three friends rushed to the bedroom. Jun was still a bit shocked but this time was able to react. When he saw Ohno's eyes open, Jun started to cry loudly. Yamapi smiled and let him approach.
"He was calling your name since he woke up." The doctor patted his shoulder kindly.
"Satoshi..." Jun whispered, taking Ohno's hand.
But Ohno did something Jun wasn't expecting. Satoshi pushed his hand away with a frown.
"Who are you?"
Jun's heart almost stopped when he heard him.
"I want to see Jun." Ohno looked at Yamapi with sad eyes.
"Toshi, my love, it's me, Jun."
"I don't know who you are." Ohno stared at his lover with surprised eyes.

A/N: Ano... sorry for this nasty cut xD for the readers who maybe hadn't understand, Ohchan remembers Jun as his boyfriend but only his voice, he can't remember his face, that's why he'll reject Jun. Maybe it's a little bit weird but after two years in coma, his brain is very fragile and he has some sequels, sorry for this, I know it's mean for Jun but... okay, I have none excuse but it will be a new challenge for Jun and we will see if he can fight for Ohchan again or will give up, too tired because of his pain ^^ thank you for reading and comments are <3 ^.^
