I'm back, and I've got some bad news...I've aged. Yes, the kid you all knew as Tony is now 16. Woot! Yes, I know. People hear 16 and they think Driving & Dating (especially Mormon people) Unfortunately I'm screwed on both accounts:
DRIVING
Well, my parents set up this rule that I couldn't do anything driving related until I earned my Eagle Scout. Well, being the procrastinater I am, it has taken me nearly 11 months! I turned in my paperwork last tuesday, and so my parents have let me start taking drivers ed. This means I probably won't get my license until July,(I'm gonna try to get my motorcycle license at the same time). Soooooo that kinda has an effect on the next item up for bids...
DATING
Hmmm, first question, Who really dates anymore? Huh? People have this obsession with "commitment" and the only people you date is your Ball & Chain, I mean girlfriend. Anywho, even if I DO decide to date, I'd have to do it in groups. (Which is good cuz I could probably pair up with a friend that can drive.) Plus, there's something that I have learned from years of experience, "Anything worth finding, has already been found." Story of my life right there. Not to mention the expense of dating & driving, which (at least until the musical is over with) I have no solution to.
So, happy apathetic birthday to me! It was pretty fun though, cuz we spread it out over the week, and Zion was pretty awesome.
My little brother Nate rocks. He's 14 and one of the few true friends I had. We had some good talks over the weekend, and some good times too. I don't know how many people have hiked around in Zion, or have hiked 'Angel's Landing' but it's pretty steep, pretty high, and pretty intense. Yeah. Me and Nate we running up that thing, no hands, and when we came down we did it 10 feet at a time...jumping. We scared so many people out of their Knickers. Then we went and watched 'Return of the King' on the Zion Canyon IMAX screen. WOW! I know, I'm a doofus for not having seen it yet, but wow.
Well, I doubt anybody will twist their arm and try and read this monstrous entry, but for everybody that did...congrats you're a trooper, and thank you.
