One week down.
After a trying week/end for many reasons, I think I'm off to a better start this time. Yesterday I was super productive and managed to get 70+ pages of textbook reading done in a few hours. I actually enjoyed reading my Abnormal Psych textbook, so that's cool. This is probably the most interesting psych class I've taken, since it's about therapy and all sorts of crazy psych issues that are a lot more accessible than, say, lots of dry theory and endless interpretations of Freud (who is somewhat of a sexist butthead, albeit influential). In fact, I really like all of my classes except for Psych of Women & Gender, which I don't dislike as much as I already know a lot of the material.
I'm about to delve into my Economic Botany textbook (I FINALLY received it in the mail) and read all about plant goodness. Wooo. Yesterday was the Superbowl, which I didn't watch (surprise). However, I did catch some of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet with a Kitty half-time show. I have to say it was quite entertaining. Quite. Somuchcuteness. So much estrogen oogling over the cuteness. Awww.
Anyway, here's to a week filled with less class selection dilemmas, drama and mental breakdowns...
