Even Quieter Than Yesterday

And after the kind of week I had last week, I needed to take the time to recharge. I had contemplated taking the bus into Lowell and doing a bit of shopping, but I decided to hold off till later this week, when I'll have a bit more money, too. Ended up taking a bit of a nap this afternoon (the weather got warm today and that made me sleepy: I get even more nocturnal during the summer than I do in the winter. That helps with the writing, since people aren't around to interrupt me).

Finished reading Jane Austen's "Lady Susan", an epistolary novel involving an adventurous widow and her attempts to flirt with one gent while trying to finagle her daughter into marrying another gent of her choosing. Very prickly lady (and things end well for her daughter.

Took a walk late this afternoon, after it cooled down: found a can and a bottle in someone's recycling, both of which I quickly cashed in at work; I had to get there anyway, since I had to write in for my hours.
