The mighty hunter....
I caught the maddening mouse that has been rattling in my wall and raising all manner of havoc: set the havaheart trap a week ago, and the little creep flat out refused to go into it. He must have gotten hungry enough or careless enough to go in. Now he's living in a conservation area in Andover, where we let him go. I don't know why I decided to be so clement toward the wretched beast. Didn't stop me from chasing him as he ran off into the bushes, me roaring at him like the most ineffective Viking ever.
Also, went for a walk to work, to pick up more rice for the St. Vincent de Paul Society food pantry, which St. Mike's Parish has been helping out with. It's good exercise carrying heavy bags of rice while walking, and it feels good to do something to help the less fortunate.
I'm easing into Tumblr RP: very different mechanics involved, of course, and I know I've vocalized my growing discontent with people's behaviour on that site. But I'm among familiar company with the group I'm in, along with some new faces, and hopefully the gang can keep it classy.
Tried writing some comment_fic, but somehow that didn't happen today. Tomorrow's another day, and hopefully I can accomplish some substantial writing then.
