Creeping along...
Housework today and I actually let myself get distracted by it, which isn't exactly like me. Also reading a lot of half-read books, which is like me. I think I'm trying to avoid the two challenges I've got due this month.
Also took a break from marathoning Stargate serieses (much as I like it, one needs a break from things when you're on a long haul) and have been listening, instead, have been listening to the hilarious podcast "Welcome to Night Vale". It's like the kind of thing Garrison Keillor (he of "A Prairie Home Companion"), Stephen King, and H.P. Lovecraft might have come up with on a boring Saturday afternoon. The announcer's delivery reminds me of an old-timey radio announcer, perfectly poised even as he's delivering the news from a peculiar desert town in which temporal rifts, angelic visitors, scientists with perfect hair, and shadowy hooded figures in the dogpark are common things and events.
