Made it through Holy Week work madness

Made it through the madness at work, though I'd be the first to admit, it was only by the skin of my teeth. At least I was scheduled for several short days rather than the usual two or three long ones, but still, I'm continuing to recuperate from that nasty flu I had last week. I'm better than I was, but I still have a fair amount of congestion and an annoying cough, which at least I can keep quiet with cough syrup and some lovely Hall's cough drops (found some natural ones with honey in the middle: mmm!).

The crowd was oddly light at times: I'm wondering if people are going out for Easter dinner more than staying home to cook it. Also saw an odd number of turkeys: most people buy ham, lamb, chicken or roast beef for Easter dinner, and there's always been a few folks who buy turkeys, but this year, I saw an unusual number of 'em. Not sure what's up with that (any ideas??).

Haven't been fic'ing much: I think I got a bit tired while writing/typing out the fic, which will be going live some time around the middle of the month. Also have been slow on the RP tagging department. I've been keeping my brain alert by playing... Plants vs. Zombies, which I downloaded onto the iPad. It's insanely addictive and a lot of fun: you're pitting pea-shooter plants and giant venus fly traps and catapulting melons against zombies with buckets on their heads, zombies with traffic cones on their heads, dancing hipster zombies and even zombies driving a zamboni, amongst many others! It's good for one's concentration and strategy, and it's just plain fun -- and funny!
