Looks like Nate got an unexpected Christmas present, although given that he's chipped in to buy his friend a very expensive gift, I guess that Hal must be in a generous mood.

Another well written fic, one which is making me consider resurrecting my own A.I. fics.

Hee, I'd love to see some of your work (I can't be the only one writing for the A.I. 'verse :: Cries, comically:: ) but all in due time!

And Hal sometimes surprises me: He might come off as a cranky, mercenary sort who wouldn't lift a finger to help, unless there's something in it for him... though he might just have decided to balance the difference in the account just to be rid of Frank's sighing for a David of his own.
