Autumn in my store

Pumpkins showed up in the produce department! A sure sign of autumn; we got the chrysanthemum plants in the morning after The Deal went through, but the pumpkins turned up yesterday when I had a day off. Also, I got to do overstock, aka "unshopping" as my dad calls it, for the first time since... probably around Memorial Day. First time that a Wednesday felt like a Wednesday: bit on the slow side, but I didn't mind. The slow came as a welcome respite from all the craziness we've had the past two weeks

Took it easy when I got back: poked at a fic for a project; I signed up again for reel_torchwood, picking up the "Junior" fusion that I started working on last year. I've got a few more chunks written, but I think I should print up what I've got typed up.

And of course, since I have a project at hand, I found myself a time sink, namely, poking at my holdings on Game of Thrones: Ascent on Facebook, which inspired me to dig out "A Dance of Dragons" and read several pages of that.
