Met with Annie yesterday. it's only about a month till her stomach reduction surgery and she's getting concerned. mostly she's worried because she's been making out her will and arranging for things to be taken care of if she dies. thoughts of that would worry anyone.
i'm been trying to do some research on the kata Kusanku. we have to write a research paper for the BB test. :-( pain in the tush.
kate managed to get a copy of the 5th Harry Potter book! she read the whole thing last night (900 pages) and i grabbed it this morning. it'll probably take me a couple days to read it as i'm not nearly as speedy a reader as the girls are. she wow'd the kids at the bookstore yesterday because she was the only one to dress up like a wizzard! made her day... and the kid's day too.
rain and overcast again today. oddly the ground was very dry yesterday when i was pulling weeks. you'd think it would be soggy after all the rain we've had this spring. at least the rain gives me an excuse to stay inside and read... well, and do laundry too.
