Prophecy

The greatest prophets see,
but they're unable to interfere.
Those who are in power
prefer to close their eyes
and pretend they don't perceive.
The tides scream it,
as well as logic does.
A catastrophy to hatch,
a powder keg to explode -
those powers which like to play
continue their games.
No-one stops them,
no-one hinders them.
And those who dare
can hide in Antarctica
because penguins don't shoot anyone.
Politicians join the game,
willing to believe
it all goes in their interest.
Dumb as they are,
they take a bath in mantras,
which haven't been true from the start.
They talk as long as they can
it isn't so as all people perceive.
Like a person who's drowning
and pretends he still can breathe.
There's nothing under control
and there's nothing they can lead.
All they can do is pretend
and act like it is okay.
They've got no idea of practice,
and all they've got an idea of
is the work in their secret offices.
Connections conspiring against the rest of the world.
Ensuring wealth for the small class they've become part of.
There's nothing to expect from them
except more and more hurt.
They won't save you if things twist up.
They'll be the first to escape,
if things turn head over heels.
As long as things go well,
everyone sticks with presenting themselves
as the solution to the problem.
But if things turn more serious
and require some more skills,
not only do they become quieter,
but also do they prove
how much of a failure they're as they all stand.
How much they're idiots
which liked to have a big name.
Savior cannot be expected,
as they're the ones which bring the plague.
They will do nothing
that ensures civil peace.
Only as far as they own existence reaches.
If you want to survive,
you better not rely on them.
Use your own mind,
don't believe in promises
and don't trust people too much.
Put away the belief that
the highest powers
and the highest-sitting
people will engage too much
in saving your life.
This kind has long died out
and it would need to be revived.
They won't feel the storm
if it rages.
They sit in their guarded private jails,
safe from hunger, safe from thirst,
safe from street battles,
safe from cold,
a million miles away
from the regular people,
at the end of the world,
watching the mess
in their home cinema TVs
and eating wafers
'til they go fat
in all their coziness.
