FYI
On Friday, June 10th, 2005 I will be heading south towards one of the “Red” states on the west coast known as Nevada. SpecialK and myself will be staying in a 3-bedroom house approximately 3.9 miles away from where I will be interning. Minden. We are about 30 minutes away from Carson City and about 1 hour away from Reno. We are also just less than 30 minutes away from the California border and South Lake Tahoe.
The internship is only going to last until August 26th. Currently I am not sure what to do after it is over. There are many options:
1. Get an extension at the company and finish off the 2 credits of technical electives I have through the internship. This would pretty much guarentee me a job in Nevada.
2. Come back to Seattle and finish school at UW. Hope that the company that I interned with will send me off with a fairly good recommendation letter.
3. Come back to Seattle and finish school at UW. Go back to Nevada and work for the company.
4. Follow SpecialK to wherever he’ll be working and finish school at said location, then find work nearby.
5. Do nothing but play WoW all day until my eyes are bloodshot and I’m a decaying heap of meat. At least I’ll have a level 60 character.
