when watching the debate i found it very odd that bush said "now let me finish" when no one was interrupting him. then i found
this in robbie's journal and i'm so sure it's true. i like to avoid 'conspiracy' theories, but this seems so likely. the links offer even more compelling additional evidence.
i've been super political today and lately. today i saw teresa heinz kerry speak (which was different then one would expect. instead of spitfire and saucy, she was soft-spoken and moderate.) and then i went to an international solidarity committee meeting. i'm absolutley positive that sometime in the next few years i want to go to palestine. in the meantime, i'm going to try to organize a (or many) roundtable or salon on the issue here on campus. also, recently sudan has been dominating my thoughts. i read the newspaper and weep almost daily. i have to figure out how to live life without this feeling of desperation. being active helps, but it feels like bailing out the titantic with a teaspoon. and it's so disheartening when people as fortunate as us don't care about injustice and other people's plights. so anyway, refer back to the subject on that issue.
