(no subject)
*yawn*
I couldn't seem to sleep last night, but that didn't bother me since I don't have to be at work till 2 this afternoon. Sad thing is that my body seems to have settled on 9:30AM as wake up time. Now I know that doesn't sound bad to those of you who work 9-5, but keep in mind I work till 11 or midnight most nights and then first start to engage in post work relaxation, so 9:30 is early! At least I don't have to work tonight. Just gotta make it to 7 somehow, heh.
I had a dream last night that all of my social circles had somehow blended. So at one moment someone in NYC was telling me how they had a major argument with a friend of mine in Buffalo and at another, someone I primarily know through the internet was telling me about a dinner they had with a friend of mine who move to Massachusetts. It was bizarre.
Not that it matters to anyone really, but I finally broke 50k gamerscore. :D I feel like the lack of Halo and Avatar on my card combined with a 50k+ score makes me a real minority, hehe. ;) Sometimes I think I get hung up on gs cause so many people on my list have higher scores (some in the 100,000 and 200,000 range) and I have this latent competitive streak. This was triggered when I had around 30k points, I think. One of the people on my list went "Hey, our scores are within 1000 points, want to do a friendly points race?" "Erm, ok. No harm in that" (Day passes and he gains over 2000 points) "Wow, you sure got those points fast." "Yeah, I played Avatar and Fallout 3 on the PC. You can use hotkeys to get the full 1500 points in 10 minutes. It's not cheating!"
Ok, so am I to understand that you asked to do a friendly points race simply so you can crush me in less than an hour's time? Frickin' jerk. He was ahead of me by more than 7,000 points at some point, but now I'm within 1200. Not that I'll say anything to the person in question, but once again, latent competitive streak. I'm motivated. :P
I think I'm going to try to get the Long Road Ahead achievement in GH 3. First off, that's a hard one to get, but secondly, it's worth 100gs and that would put me over 50% completion in that horribly difficult game for gamerscore hunters such as I've become.
Actually, I have 2 hours before I have to leave. Might as well get a jump on that now... If anyone still plays the game.
