(no subject)
So, I actually took myself clothing shopping today and it was ok, I guess.
I hate clothing shopping, I really do. I don't like shopping of any kind to take more than 10 minutes, but given that you usually have to pick stuff, try it on, decide if you like the bigger size or the smaller size and so on, clothing shopping rarely goes so quickly. This is especially the case when you're with people who enjoy such a thing and certainly makes the most of their time in a clothing store (I'm looking right at you, you-who-falls-in-this-category. You know who you are. ;))
Well, I was actually pretty happy with my turn around. I found everything I was looking for (well, almost. Didn't get jeans as I flat out refuse to pay $45 on an article of casual clothing. I'll wait for a sale) in under 15 minutes. The problem was check out. It took nearly 45 minutes. Ugh.
At least I accomplished something. :P
I've been sending out job apps like crazy the past couple of days. Something sort of lit a fire under me about work lately. I don't know what exactly, but I'm thankful for it. I really needed to get a move on.
Looking forward to the weekend, though nothing really special is going on. I had initially thought to take the time to complete Darksiders, but I think I encountered a fatal bug in the game. :( I'm waiting till our internet is restored to see if the patch the game keeps trying to download fixes it though I doubt it does. Since I don't really want to start Dante's Inferno till after the weekend is out, I popped in Guitar Hero 3 on the VERY outside chance that I might finally 5 star One on hard to get the 5-star all hard songs achievement. On my first go, I came in under my high score by 12,000 points. On my second go, the planets aligned and (as such) I finally got the strumming pattern down and 5-starred it. Yay for another 30gs in that game! One more achievement puts me over 50% completion. I think, once I get there, I can officially put that game to rest.
I'm thinking I can also use some time to finally catch up on FlashForward. I've been at least one episode behind since it picked back up after being on break for what felt like forever. I wonder if anyone still watches the show? I certainly hope so, since the new episodes have been much better than the ones before the break. The stuff I've read online seem to state that it's likely to be canceled, which I'm sorta sad about, though I don't really know how it would go on past this season anyways.
Phew, sudden wave of tired.... makes sense since it's almost 3AM. I'll stop rambling now. G'night all! :D
