well not sure how long you been dealing with second life itself, but that will happen sometimes with some updates. The best bet with what you dealing with, is you may have to wait til next update before you can get on. Sometimes it the update that could be the problem on some comps, while it can work on most. I had this happen to me before, and to other friends, sometimes it may not be long at all between the updates, sometimes it may be a while, but not that long lol,
But with second life as a whole in the last year or more, it seems they gotten a bit downhill with quality help. I just seems more towards making money then anything else now, withs its' large volume, or it just didn't grow well along with the customers.
I had problems getting my account unlock for six months :X. Finally gotten a hold of a real person and it took a few mins to have it all running again. Just also a note, it going to be really hard to get a hold of a person right after an update loll, cause of problems that people will have with it.

Solus was the name. and on Second life I am Solus Bunnyhug, but sadly, you wont' find me on there for a while :X with all the crazy going on.
